我毕业于Baldwin-Wallace在伯里亚学院,Ohio, in May 2010 with a triple major in French, International Studies, and Communication Studies, and a minor in Political Science. I am currently in my 3rd and final year of graduate school at Georgetown University, pursuing two Master's degrees, one in International Affairs and one in Public Policy. Professionally, I have worked for federal and municipal government, as well as various NGOs. I have lived and worked in multiple cities around the world, including Chicago, Cleveland, Paris, France, Pristina, Kosovo and Washington, D.C. My tutoring experience is very diverse. In undergrad, I worked as a course assistant for a French language and culture course, teaching select topics in class, creating curriculum, and holding office hours for a small class of 6 students. I also have worked as a statistics tutor for my college and a French tutor for my high school. Furthermore, I have extensive proofreading and editing experience as I have worked as a proofreader for a court reporter, as a departmental assistant editing academic papers for professors and as a pro bono editor of many college essays and cover letters for friends and family. Finally, I have also coached others in Public Speaking, as I was a competitive public speaker for a number of years and also hold multiple degrees from the National Forensics League (the national public speaking/debate organization). I love academia and love helping others reach their full potential in academic environments. I would say I am a very patient tutor who is cognizant of different working and leaning styles, and am very apt at adapting lessons to fit the specific student. My favorite subjects to tutor are Writing, English, Reading, Government, Political Science and International Affairs. Outside of academia, I love to travel, volunteer, read, go thrift shopping for antiques and of course spend time with friends and family.
