Education is the foundation for any successful person. Educated people are the backbone of America's future. To have a successful life I think you need an education.I'm not saying that people who dropout of highschool are less successful but the percentage of them being successful is a lot lower.
When I was little I wanted to be a teacher. I actually wanted to be one up until my sophomore year when it got bumped to my second choice. Education to me is not only learning but also teaching. I love teaching kids new skills. Seeing the brightness in their eyes when they finally catch on is so rewarding.
My plan for the future is to become a social worker and help troubled kids. I hope that my passion for education will transfer to them and help them gain the determination to finish school. Education not only is the backbone of your skills but it helps create a good time management schedule as well as a strict work ethic. By being in school I've learned how to manage my time and work hard to achieve the grades I want.
Not only is education important to make money and get a steady job. It’s also important for holding yourself accountable and learning daily skills. Education is great for forming relationships. I once had a wise man tell me that if you go to the bank and ask for a loan while talking in complete and educated sentences, that your chances of getting that loan are a lot higher than if you can't complete a sentence. I believe that you can go a lot further with an education than without one. That’s why I'm hoping to continue my education after highschool at the University of Wyoming.
