Education is so important to me because I want to be the first in my family to graduate college. In today's world it is hard to live a decent life with out a degree or trade. I choose t go to a technical college because the world needs people in these fields. I am entering a male dominant field and I want to be the best there is and excel. Without and education employers will not take me serious. As a female entering a male dominated field if I do not have the correct knowledge and education I feel it will be hard to find employment in the automotive field that specializes in high performance.

Can I do this job with out a degree or certificate? Sure I could but will anyone take me serious? Probably not. Education will give me the knowledge and respect I need to help me excel to reach my dreams and goals. With this degree/certificate it will ensure me I will make the money I deserve. Doors will open for me that would not with out a degree/certificate. The college I will attend has employers hiring from the school which will be a huge benefit.
