Every year I grow and learn. I am taught many valuable lessons. There are 3 lessons I learned this year in 2022 that I feel are going to be the most impactful for 2023. One was that you need to be very careful with who you give your trust to, the next is that 2-4 real genuine friends are so much more valuable than 10-20+ and the last is that people will cheat you out of things and cheat to benefit themselves.
Trust is a huge thing but can be so easily broken. It is important you choose wisely who you give your trust to. You can not take it back and it takes a long time to fix and rebuild it. You have to check and double check before you give your trust or trust someone.
I used to want tons and tons of friends and to please everyone. I would do anything in my control to please people and make everyone happy and have no one mad at me. I learned that you are never going to make everyone happy and there is always going to be someone who is mad at you or someone who doesn't like you. You just need a few real, true, and genuine friends and you are good to go.
The last lesson I learned was that people cheat. People cheat to benefit themselves but also to hurt you and others. It is a sad thing to see but it teaches you exactly what not to do or how to be. True colors will be shown and it will catch back up to them even if it is not super soon. It is important to know what's right and to keep doing what is right even if you are tired of the cheating.
