I am a graduate of Keiser University and South University. I received my Associates and Bachelors of Nursing at Keiser University; Masters of Science in Nursing(specializing in Adult Geronotolgy Primary Care Nurse Practitioner) and Doctor of Nursing Practice at South University. Since graduation, I have worked as a nurse, nurse practitioner and tutor. I have been tutoring nurses to get certification for AANP or ANCC. I am most passionate about assisting nurse practitioner students become the next generation of providers and to lead the future of healthcare. In my experience helping struggling students prepare for computerized testing, we always seem to enjoy the light bulb go on(face light up) once a concept has been mastered. I am a firm believer of education, believing it to be necessary for an improved quality of life, and I try to impart this appreciation to all of my students. In my spare time, I enjoy reading that which enriches my life, yoga, traveling and adventure or action movies.
