I earned my doctorate in nursing practice from The College of St. Scholastica in Duluth, MN., and am a board certified adult & geriatric nurse practitioner through the ANCC.
I have worked with nursing students from their very first year in nursing school, all the way up into their first jobs as new nurses. I can help with professional license prep exams, including ANCC, AANP, and NCLEX. I can help with nursing classes such as medical terminology, dosage calculations, and pathophysiology, to name a few. If it has to do with nursing, I am passionate about any class you need help with. I love helping people learn new things, and I love to learn myself through listening and participating. My teaching style can be very flexible.
Outside of work, I travel with my husband and enjoy spending time with my adult sons who live out of state. I really enjoy crossword puzzles and a good game of Scrabble.
