Hi, my name is Sherry Chiang and I am a current student at Reed College in Portland, Oregon. I am thinking about majoring in Biology or Art. My college schedule is fairly flexible, so I would love to help out any curious mind. Tutoring is both rewarding to me and my students! I have been tutoring for over six years now, in a variety of subjects pertinent to students of all ages. Specifically, I find teaching rewarding because of the knowledge students gain as they excel. I have worked both independently and under tutoring centers, specifically the startup company TutorSync.

Since I have been tutoring for so long, I have dealt with many unique students and their needs. I know how to adhere to different learning styles, and how to make information stick. My age range for tutoring has been as young as elementary schoolers and as seasoned as working adults. The student always has priority, and I am just here to help them on their journeys! I understand that every single student requires a different way of teaching, and I have always considered myself a creative person. Please let me know what I might need to know in order to benefit you as a student.

Currently, I have gone through all the math classes leading up to and including AP Calculus BC and have tutored extensively in many subjects, such as Algebra, Pre-Calc, Geometry, SAT/ACT topics, and Calculus. As for sciences, I have experience taking and tutoring Biology, Chemistry, and AP Chemistry. I have tutored for online classes as well as orthodox classroom set-ups.
