I am a graduate of Univeristy of St. Thomas with a Biology of Global Health B.S. While attending UST I was both a teaching assistant and tutor for freshman and sophomore biology students. Additionally, I have tutored students from elementary age to college age in Math, Writing, English, and Science. I love helping students learn ways to find answers to their own questions by using prior knowledge and information they may already have. When a student does not know how to do something or does not understand a concept, I work to compare the material to a topic they may already understand or a real world example. I enjoy tutoring because I have a passion for learning and love having the opportunity to share that passion with others! My goal in life is to become a pediatric oncologist and work at a teaching hospital; I am currently in the process of applying to medical school. In my free time I enjoy outdoor activities, music, and spending time with family and friends.
