I love working with students. I have been a certified teacher in Colorado for 7 years. Before that, I was a certified teacher in Texas for 3 years. I specialize in math subjects. Through completion of my doctorate in educational leadership, I fell in love with all math. I feel math is complicated and interesting which appeals to practical application in everyday life. I have been tutoring math from kindergarten through algebra for years and even tutored statistics at a high school level for 2 years. I additionally have worked with students with special needs for nine years. I specialize in students with dyslexia. I believe all students can learn. Students must understand how they learn and not be afraid to ask questions. I look at the world differently and therefore have a unique way of teaching math that aids students in understanding concepts.
