In my Algebra classes, I try to show students how topics can expand beyond the borders of the classroom, also by using a variety of visuals and models. Sometimes, certain students need more than just good analogies and thorough explanations to help them succeed, and this often requires learning effective organizational and study skills. I frequently work with students outside of the classroom to design better ways to schedule their time, and organize their materials. In my free time, I am an avid fan of exploring St. Louis! This is only my second year living in the Midwest and I have been enjoying discovering new parks and neighborhoods whenever I can find time. I like to travel, as well, and visit friends and family on the East Coast, but I feel as if St. Louis has become my new home.
