Being young in high school, working, and taking care of siblings can be really stressful and hard at times. I work after school from 5 to 6 hours, so I don't have time to do homework after school. Because of this, I try to do all my work in class and always stay focused. I work to give my siblings what I couldn't have, so when our parents are busy working I take care of them, go shopping with them, buy them food, and go out to places or parks to keep them occupied and having fun. What I plan to do with my automitve education is to use that knowledge I would get from the scholarship and take advantage of it.
In school I try to focus the best I can, but I get sleepy sometimes, due to getting home late from work. I sometimes even think about quitting my job to be all caught up with my homework and focus better in class, so I can sleep early and be awake in class because I sometimes help pay with rent or get things my little brothers want that will help them.
How I would take advantage of the knowledge I would gain is that I would know what to do if my car has a problem or know what the problem is. Something else is that I could help my parents or someone who has no idea of how a car works or what to do. Another thing i would do is if i am good at it i will probably start my own business in fixing cars or help fix cars.
I take care of my siblings during the weekend and an hour after school. Sometimes when I take my siblings out to the park or eat because they stay home all day, and when I'm home all day, I start feeling like everything is closing up inside my room or feel trapped. I don't want them to feel like that. In the mornings, I kiss my mother goodbye and drive my siblings to school. After school, I give them rides back home or go get McDonalds before getting home.
