Certified Tutor

阿罗哈!我毕业于杨百翰大学-Hawaii and earned my Bachelor of Arts in TESOL Education. Since graduating and completing my student teaching experience, I have been working on getting my Nevada teaching license so I can start teaching full-time! In the meantime, I am in search of teaching/tutoring opportunities to expand my in-field experience! Since I am a TESOL educator, I am most passionate about helping students and adult learners improve their English language skills. While student teaching in an ESL classroom, just getting students interested in reading was a struggle, but when I found stories and formats that they enjoyed, they didn't want to stop! My goal is to help students enjoy school, or at least enjoy reading! Books are adventures just waiting to happen! In getting to know students individually, I can help them learn in ways that are engaging for them. We can learn in so many different and exciting ways! In my spare time I enjoy learning to play new songs on my ukulele, reading books, comics, and manga, and writing letters to my friends and family across the globe.
