I graduated as a football student-athlete from the University of Texas at Austin. I earned a Bachelors of Science in Kinesiology-Exercise Science, and was a pre-med student. I am currently in the process of applying to medical school. Few of the things that I have learned during my time there are as important as leadership by service.
I serve others to help them reach their goals, as others have to help me. I believe in giving back and this is one way in which I am able to do so.
I also subscribe to the growth mindset, and it is my goal to have all my students believe that they are capable of that growth themselves as well. I want my students to be prepared not just to answer questions in a test, but be able to apply that knowledge to the real world, and in turn, take the help I give and use it to further help others along their path.
