Certified Tutor

I am a graduate of George Brown College. I received a post graduate certificate in Design Management. I have a Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design from Olmeca University, in Mexico. My experience teaching started with College and University Students and since then I became passionate about creating fun and comprehensive ways to guide the students in the acquisition of new knowledge. During my firsts years in Canada I volunteer teaching young children of kindergarten and elementary levels, clases in Spanish and English since their language spoken at home was Spanish, this prepared me to teach ESL specially to Spanish speakers, my experience with the language and culture gave me the capacity to understand which were the key difficulties learning English. This experience made me passionate about teaching Spanish to English speakers and teaching ESL. I am a strong believer that the guidance of a teacher facilitates and makes the journey of learning an enjoyable and rewarding one that will enrich our life. In my spare time I am an avid hiker, I love to spend time in nature, reading is another of my hobbies, allowing me to travel and meet new experiences.
