Certified Tutor

I graduated from the University of Saint-Boniface in Manitoba about 10 years ago. Being originally from a country where French is the primary language, this was the perfect place where I can study at a French University while living in an English-speaking province.

That strategy allowed me to hone my language skills and to, since then, be able to share those skills by tutoring people of various age groups and cultural backgrounds. Although my degrees are in Accounting and Business Administration, I've always had a soft spot for both English and French literature. My students tend to think that "they put my name on the wrong degrees". I'm a firm believer that fundamentals are learned in school, but fluency is developed thru exchanges in a non-formal setting (online tutoring being among the most accommodating today). I also think that being able to communicate your thoughts in multiple languages is a great exercise for the brain.

To relax, I like to look at new business models or watch interviews about entrepreneurship (what a way to relax, right?). I also enjoy basketball and going to the gym occasionally.
