Certified Tutor

我毕业于休斯顿大学的B.S. in Biomedical Sciences. I am currently pursuing a M.S. in Medical Science at the University of North Texas Health Science Center Graduate School of Biomedical Sciences. My goal is to become a physician so I may work alongside my peers to combat health disparities and educate patients. As education is a major determinant of health outcomes, I hope to empower patients, families, and entire communities with knowledge so they may live a higher quality of life.

I spent time volunteering as a tutor for the American Chemical Society at the University of Houston. In this role, I was able to help students find simple solutions to solve challenging problems in Organic Chemistry and Biochemistry. Working with others to guide them towards achieving their goals was very fulfilling for me. I strive to provide strategies that are individualized to the needs of each of my students. I experienced a sense of fulfillment when I receive positive emails from students after they perform well on a test or pass a class.

I decided to become a Varsity Tutor because I realized that students might be seeking for extra academic help as a result of the COVID-19 pandemic. I believe that I can help students in a wide variety of academic endeavors, from grade school and college-level math and science courses to SAT and MCAT prep.

As your tutor, I hope to guide you towards academic success. However, I hope to learn from you as well. As a future physician, I plan to continue sharing knowledge with peers and patients. By serving as your tutor, I will continue building on my communication and leadership abilities so I can maximize my effectiveness as a physician. Thus, I plan to work alongside you so we may reach our goals together.
