Hello all,

I'm happy to help you with your journey into Mandarin Chinese and the culture of the country.

I lived in China for 11 years, one year in Xi'an and 10 years in Shanghai. I didn't know any of the language before I arrived in China, but it was my goal with traveling there to work and study. I ended up taking the HSK 3, HSK 4, and HSK 5 tests over the years and I worked as an English teacher teaching business professionals and giving company training. I really value the time I spent there; China is an interesting place.

I am now in the U.S. with my wife, who is Chinese. I look forward to meeting you all and hope to help you navigate the difficulties of the language and the culture. Have a great day.
