Learning can best be accomplished when both the instructor and student are properly related by both common interest and dedication to the task of learning. This type of learning relationship is the basis for academic excellence. I enjoy teaching and seeing students learn; it is this motivation that drives my interest to continue teaching.
I have a graduate education (M.S.) in Biology/Human Anatomy from medical/dental school and a doctorate in Distance Education/Instructional Technology. I have extensively studied and practiced methods of learning and principles of pedagogy with online students and I have applied these to the teaching of science courses with more than 20 years of teaching and designing courses for the sciences in both the physical classroom and in online teaching in several colleges and universities. My high student ratings and success with helping students have benefited a generation of students and I would like to continue teaching and helping student learn in the biomedical sciences by tutoring students in biology/anatomy & physiology.
