I tutor for GRE verbal reasoning and analytical writing and I took the GRE in September 2017. I used Varsity Tutors to study for the exam and found the experience to be an invaluable part of my preparation. I graduated from Bentley University in 2013 and worked in the consulting division of a premier catastrophe modeling firm until August of 2018. While at the company, I gravitated towards public speaking and used my knowledge to teach those skills to others in the company. I recently started at Teachers College Columbia University in a Social/Organizational Psychology masters program where I focus on executive and personal coaching in addition to studying group dynamics. Outside of my professional life, I enjoy stand up comedy, yoga, meditation, podcasts and exploring New York City.

My experiences as a public speaking instructor and coach have shaped the way that I tutor. I've learned how to help my students set and stick with goals in subjects that challenge them, and specialize in working with adults. Since experience is the foundation of adult learning, I like using my students' unique backgrounds to root our sessions and ensure that the material is easy to recall.
