Certified Tutor

I am currently a first year at the University of North Carolina School of the Arts as a student of cello performance. I have been a tutor for 2 years now and love to see how much a student can grow after just a few lessons. I understand what it is like to be a busy student and encourage others to strive for academic excellence no matter what their schedule is like. I primarily tutor math (including geometry, algebra, trigonometry, pre-calculus, and calculus AB), but have worked with students on English and science as well. My goal as a tutor is not only to help students become better in their studies, but to also mature into independent thinkers.
