Certified Tutor

你好,我的名字是杰克,我目前undergraduate student at the University of Alabama at Birmingham. I am a Biology major with minors in Chemistry and Digital Media, and I'm also a member of the Honors College.

I have never officially tutored before but I have experience studying with friends and groups where I have been able to help them understand material that we've learned in class more clearly. During experiences like these I discovered how much I enjoy assisting others in learning concepts and gaining a better understanding of them.

Aside from working with my peers who are roughly all college age, I also have a lot of experience working with children of various younger ages because I have volunteered at Crossroads Youth Camp for three (going on four) years. At this camp I have learned a lot about working with kids and how to keep them interested and active in whatever they are doing, which is something important when it comes to learning.

Outside of my school studies I enjoy spending time with friends, exercising, practicing and developing my skills with photography and editing, playing video games and even reading comic books (which sounds old school, I know).
