While I attended Drake University, I worked in the Drake Math Lab for 4 years, and I worked with a variety of students, classes, and majors. I found my love for teaching as I enjoyed working more than my classes. I graduated with a degree in Actuarial Science in May 2014 and soon after attained my Master's Degree in Secondary Math Education from Iowa State University.
