Certified Tutor

I am a first year student at Drake University in Des Moines, IA, and I'm working on a Bachelor's in English and International Relations as well as a Spanish minor. When I'm not studying, I enjoy having game nights with my friends, reading books that aren't on a syllabus, and rooting for the St. Louis Cardinals. The majority of my past tutoring experience is one on one with high school and middle school students to help with math and essay writing, though I am available for a wide variety of subjects. Since I took many AP courses, I am familiar with the tests and all of the studying that comes with it. Knowing how helpful the college credit has been for me, I am looking forward to helping other students get ahead in their college studies. Regardless of the subject, my focus is on finding an approach that works best for each student so that going forward they can feel confident in their learning. I am excited to have found Varsity Tutors so that I can continue doing what I loved to do in high school: help students succeed in their studies.
