Certified Tutor

As a current sophomore at Kenyon College, I'm right there in the trenches with other students. Through my work as a volunteer teacher with Lake Erie Ink, I've learned that any disdain for learning is derived from a neglect of the complexity of learning -- the endless means and modes of learning, which, when sculpted to the needs of specific individuals, can completely change the way a person views the world.

Successful and productive interactions with students not only helps them grow exponentially, but frequently teaches me new things as well, and it's precisely this back-and-forth nature of learning that seems to really make a difference in a student's academic career. I would love to be given the opportunity to produce this change in others.
