I have three years of experience tutoring at a math tutoring center as well as in-home (for varied subjects), and enjoy working with kids and adults of any age! I am most comfortable tutoring subjects in math and the Spanish language, and I have experience studying abroad in Spain and taking courses with locals as part of my background. I really enjoy languages, and I think both math and spanish are a form of communication that many students can learn to enjoy as well! Though these and other subjects can seem tough at times, I feel that it is just a matter of time, patience, and practice in the subjects that you struggle with that will eventually make them a piece of cake! I work and help out in neuroscience labs in Denver and Boulder, but outside of the academic world, I am a big fan of dancing, cycling, reading, drawing/arts and crafts, and definitely have a guilty pleasure - Netflix.
