I attended and graduated from Oregon State University obtaining my BS in Electrical Engineering.
I have 30 plus years of experience in the high technology field.
One of my primary roles was to take the ideas, concepts and designs created by the design engineers and Doctors into a practical reality. Because of this background I have the capability and the means to communicate the very complex concepts into practical step by step ideas. This allows the student the opportunity to grasp the very complex ideas into something that they can take home for life. I consider this challenge with fun and excitement because I am able to bring to the layman a level of knowledge and understanding that they would have never thought possible.

Currently my areas that I will be mentoring are: Algebra 1, Algebra 3/4, Arithmetic, Middle School Math, Pre-Algebra, Pre-Calculus and Statistics. Statistics is one area that I especially enjoy in that it is a fast growing technology and has multiple applications. It is most always misunderstood because of its complexities of application.

My favorite sporting events encompasses team sports. I feel that a team is far more capable than an individual. Any team that is coached to behave as a team will out perform a team that is not even if the skill level is significantly out of proportion. Here is where I excel in that I know how to bring a technology team to a level that far exceeds the sum of each individual. With this I have the ability to coach and teach all personalities, all levels of knowledge and all levels of willingness. I work well with one on one and with a full class room of students. Making it fun is a key ingredient.
