Certified Tutor

I am currently a certified high school Math teacher with over ten years of tutoring experience spanning all grade levels. I have always loved teaching and helping others, starting at a young age. I have continued to do what I love, tutoring my way through high school and college, until I began teaching mathematics at a public high school. I currently teach Pre Calculus Honors, Algebra II Honors, and support students enrolled in an online math course. I also proctor standardized tests on a weekly basis, and have offered lessons based on test prep ranging in the math sections of the SAT, SSAT, PSAT, ACT, Praxis, and HSPA. I attended the College of New Jersey, graduating on the Dean's list with a job offer in hand. I enjoy Trigonometry and Algebra, and especially enjoy answering the question "when will I ever use this in the real world?" because I have found that mathematics is involved in almost everything we do, from nature to architecture to money and healthcare.
