Certified Tutor

I graduated with honors from Pomona College with a Bachelor of Arts in Biology and a minor in Psychology. I am new to the tutoring profession but have been instructing children through college-age students for years in a variety of subjects, mainly biology. I am available to tutor high school and college biology, the HL/SL IB Biology course, introductory psychology and cognitive/neuropsychology, and math up to the level of algebra, which includes introductory statistics. My real passion is for zoology; I may be applying to graduate school to study animal cognition and later teach. My teaching style incorporates that different individuals learn best through different modalities and so I work to find the best method of learning for each student. In my free time, I enjoy spending time with my pets, reading, playing music, working on needle crafts, swimming, and playing video games.
