Certified Tutor

I have recently earned a Bachelor of Science in Secondary education with an emphasis in History/Government. During my trek working toward the completion of my Bachelor's degree, I have worked with students of all ages. I have engaged in tutoring all content at the elementary age, and social studies and formal writing from eight grade through intro college age. My experiences in education has prepared me to assist students to achieve levels of success beyond there perceived abilities. Every student is and can be a learner. With that being said, no two students are the same. Curriculum should be catered to each student according to their needs, to reach new horizons within their education. In addition to tutoring students of all ages, I have found a passion and ability to work with students who need an extra hand achieving success due to physical or cognitive disabilities. I stand firmly on the fact that all students are learners; it is the duty of the educator to learn to teach each student. Based on my beliefs passion for educating all students I will be continuing my education in the fall working to earn a special education endorsement via earning a Master's of Art in Curriculum and Instruction with an emphasis in Special Education.
