Certified Tutor

While pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Chemistry from the University of Missouri, I had the opportunity to tutor a wide range of subjects. I currently teach Chemistry at a Community College, and I have tutored Math and Science for three years. I love working with people of all academic backgrounds, and I have created great relationships with pre-med students, veterans, returning students, and high school students. I LOVE teaching Science and Math, and I hold sessions with lots of laughter and encouragement. During my sessions, I work with my students to evaluate their strengths and weaknesses while designing a pathway that will help each student to reach his/her individual goal. I focus on breaking problems down while keeping in mind the big picture. In my spare time, I am usually rock climbing, but you can also find me taking long walks with my dog, reading good books, and laughing often.
