Certified Tutor

I am a graduate of Fordham University at Lincoln Center in Manhattan. At Fordham I doubled majored in Communication and Media Studies with a focus in Journalism and Political Science. I was the Managing Editor of our award-winning student run newspaper, The Observer. I also held internships at CBS Corporate and CBS News during my time there. I started acting when I was a child, and toured the country with the national Broadway tour of Ragtime when I was 10 years old. Since then I have enjoyed balancing my academic life with my performing life.

After college I went back to my original passion for the performing arts, but still love learning and exercising my brain academically. My favorite subjects to work in are English and History, especially reading and writing. I have been an avid reader since I was a kid, reading every book I could possibly get my hands on. I love sharing my love of reading with others. I also really love helping students work through problems on their own and giving them new perspectives from which to attack problems. Basically I like to make learning fun! When I was studying for the LSAT, I made games out of taking practice tests so I ended up feeling like I was just figuring out puzzles, not studying. I hope to impart my love of learning to my students so we can both have fun!
