I am a teacher at a local St. Louis school and specialize in STEAM
(科学、技术、工程、艺术和数学)education and
curriculum. I have a bachelors degree in Education with a minor in
Biology and General Science. I am currently pursuing my Masters Degree
in Business with an emphasis in Environmental Studies. I greatly enjoy
sharing my knowledge of various topics of science with students. I have
had the unique opportunity to work with students both in the classroom
and out for the last several years. I currently work at a local St.
Louis school and strive to create unique STEAM education experiences.
Previously, I have taught specialized science classes to students in
various schools all around St. Louis for the past 4 years. I also
developed and ran an education program relating to Biology,
Sustainability, and local Missouri ecosystems for a local nonprofit. In
addition to these, I have been active in the St. Louis school district
tutoring local students. I am very passionate about helping students
understand science in their own unique way. I believe in catering to
the students unique learning styles and preferences while teaching them
skills that can be translated into any content area. When I am not
teaching or learning, I enjoy reading, hiking, and playing with my dog.
